Observing Domestic Abuse Awareness Month With A Flag Raising Ceremony at #Gloucester City Hall.
Today I joined with Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken, Gloucester officials, members of the Gloucester Coalition For The Prevention of Domestic Violence, and citizens to raise a flag symbolizing October as Domestic Awareness Month. If you, or someone you care about, are impacted by domestic violence, the time to start thinking about protecting yourself now.
Call the Healing Abuse Working For Change (HAWC)’s 24-hour hotline at (978) 744-6841 or Gloucester’s hotline at (978) 281-1135 to get help.
