Middleton's Memorial Day Parade began at Memorial Hall and marched to Flint Library and Veterans’ Monuments for a brief prayer, laying of wreaths, a salute and “Taps.”
The parade continued to the Oakdale Cemetery for a ceremony at the Veterans’ Monument which included music by the Howe-Manning School band. Students from the school read General Logan's Orders and recited the poem 'Decoration Day'. They were joined with music from the elementary school band.
