MassDOT Advisory: Essex – Route 133
ESSEX – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced there will be daytime lane closures on the bridge that carries Route 133 over the Essex River in Essex on Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8.
These traffic impacts will be in place each day between 7 a.m., and 3:30 p.m., and are necessary to allow crews and contractors to safely and effectively conduct construction operations.
Law enforcement details will be utilized to alternate vehicular traffic through the work zone. Signage and messaging will be in place to notify drivers of these restrictions.
MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of potential traffic impacts. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution. All work is weather dependent and is subject to change without notice.
