Thanksgiving Dinner for North Reading Seniors
The annual Thanksgiving Dinner for North Reading Seniors is a wonderful tradition initiated many years ago by then Council on Aging Director Edie O' Leary, a tireless advocate and innovator for seniors in North Reading and across Massachusetts.
I am honored to be able to continue the tradition by co-hosting the event with my friends House Minority Leader Brad Jones and his wife
Linda. Due to COVID-19, we have had a few years where we had to move
forward by distributing food packages on a drive-up basis in the parking lot
of the Hillview Country Club.
But, this year, we were back to a festive event inside the
Hillview, with wonderful food, great interactive entertainment, and the spirit
of community and friendship filling the room!
Thanks to Brad and Linda, the North Reading Council on
Aging, and everyone who joined together to make this year's dinner a huge
success.
