Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners & Boston Bruins Honor First Lady Lauren Baker At The Ipswich Library
A great advocate for public libraries was honored yesterday at the Ipswich Public Library and I was so happy to be there to join in giving thanks to First Lady Lauren Baker. She read to schoolchildren and was presented with a Boston Bruins jersey autographed by the Bruins team. Blades, the Bruins’ mascot, and the new mascot for the women’s professional hockey team The Boston Pride added a lot of excitement to the event.
