For 50 Years We All Have Been Winning The State Lottery

Today, the Massachusetts State Lottery celebrated the historic milestone of 50 years of the state lottery. With Governor Charlie Baker, Deborah B. Goldberg, Massachusetts State Treasury, Senate President Karen E. Spilka, Rep. Ann-Margaret Ferrante, and other colleagues. Each year the Lottery returns net profits to the state's 351 cities and towns in a way that allows the greatest flexibility of what the funds are used for such as snow plowing, safety improvements, school services, parks, seniors, and more.
