September 11 Remembrance
Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken and Gloucester Fire Chief Eric Smith hosted a memorial service today at the Gloucester Fire Department to remember the victims of 9/11.
Gloucester firefighters, police officers, veterans and members of the United States Coast Guard honored those who perished on 9/11 at New York’s World Trade Center, The Pentagon and in Pennsylvania. The ceremony also recognized members of the armed forces who have given their lives in the ongoing war on terror.
