Denim Day
Yesterday I joined with 100 members of the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators, and millions of people across the globe, to support survivors and educate others about all forms of sexual violence.
Denim Day began after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court where a rape conviction was overturned because the justices felt that since the victim wore tight jeans, she implied consent. I stand with sexual assault survivors and the Caucus of Women Legislators to support the mission of #DenimDay every day.
