Today at 11 in the morning the House and Senate will be called to order for our innagural session.
New Year's Eve was the final session for the state Senate's long-serving parliamentarian and clerk, William Welch. He has served the Senate since 1973 under nine Senate Presidents. I wish him the very best in his well deserved retirement after more than 45 years of working in the Senate.
