Cape Ann Television Legislator of the Year
Last Thursday I was honored to receive the first Legislator of the Year award
at the annual meeting of Cape Ann Television.
Broadcasting a wide range of community-based programing on local access
channels, CATV is a tremendous resource that keeps Cape Ann communities
connected, informed, involved and educated about local events and issues.
Through the efforts of a dedicated group of people, CATV covers local
meetings and events, and showcases the talents of local artists and writers.
Over the past several years I have partnered with the station on many fronts,
and appreciate the partnership we have developed on projects such as the North
Shore Holiday Toy Drive, special programs on such topics as the International
Dory Races, the Essex Clam Festival and so many more.
