Congratulations to Gloucester’s New Interim Mayor
On Thursday night, Gloucester’s City
Council appointed City Councilor Sefatia Romeo Theken as the city’s new interim
mayor, and I would like to congratulate her on her elevation. There is no one
in the city who embodies what it means to be from Gloucester more than Sefatia.
She will bring a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to the
position.
Most of all, Sefatia will bring her
passion and love of the city to the corner office, as she did as a city
councilor and as a liaison at Addison Gilbert Hospital. I’m confident that
Sefatia will guide Gloucester on a course of success.
