It was an honor to join the Howlett Brook Fishway Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Topsfield.
Agree wholeheartedly with the below sentiments shared by the Ipswich River Watershed Alliance:
"Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the upgraded fishway that now provides migratory fish passage between the Howlett Brook Watershed and the Ipswich River. This fish ladder has been defunct since the 2006 Mother's Day Flood - after 17 years fish can have better access to the Howlett Brook Watershed! We are so grateful to our restoration community - from legislators to conservation agents to fish biologists - your support is imperative.
