Tall Ship Visit to Newburyport
I was honored last Friday morning to join with Mayor Reardon, Representative Shand, Mayor Gove, members of the Newburyport City Council, and representatives of the US Coast Guard for a welcoming tour of the tall ship Neo Trinidad, which is visiting through July 9th as the centerpiece of the Custom House Museum's Maritime Days.
The crew of the Neo Trinidad gave us a fascinating and informative tour of this ship, a replica of the vessel used by Spanish explorer Magellan to make history.
