North Shore Holiday Toy Drive expected to collect thousands of toys for North Shore Children in need.

BEVERLY, MA- Once again, North Shore 104.9 and State Senator Bruce Tarr will hit the road collecting toys for children on the North Shore and broadcasting live all day. This year’s Holiday Toy Drive will take place on Thursday, December 9th from 6:00am to 6:00pm from nine locations on the North Shore. The live broadcast will feature local entertainment, school choirs and bands, great food, interviews with local officials and even Santa Claus will be on the road helping the cause. Eastern Insurance and Safety Insurance have partnered with North Shore 104.9 to present the 15th annual North Shore Holiday Toy Drive broadcast.

“Kindness is one of the greatest gifts of the holiday season, and the spirit of giving is always strong on the North Shore. This year our team looks forward to seeing as many people as possible as we travel the roadways to bring musical talent to the airwaves and joy to the children for whom a simple gift makes such a big difference.” Tarr said. This toy drive will be his 15th since being elected into the Senate in 1994.

North Shore 104.9 President Todd Tanger stated, “Once again we are delighted to be a part of the North Shore Holiday Toy Drive. Year after year we are overwhelmed by the generosity that the North Shore extends to the children in our community with the greatest need. This event affects so many families and being a part of that is so heartwarming and we thank the people of the North Shore who contribute, our listeners, clients, employees, and friends. We work hard to focus our energy on all things North Shore and this annual toy drive is our favorite event of the year because it is truly all about the kids and their smiling faces. We thank Senator Bruce Tarr for all his energy and his continued efforts year after year.
