North Andover Severe Flooding
Heavy rain and severe flooding have caused severe damage and disruption to businesses and homes in North Andover and other area communities, and an effective response demands coordinated efforts between local, state, and federal governments.
On Thursday I joined Congressman Moulton to assess the damage, and on Friday Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll came to support us and work with us. They too viewed the damage, talked with those impacted, and led a discussion about the next steps in recovery efforts. The response from these colleagues is deeply appreciated.
Our legislative delegation is working together to address the many needs this flooding has caused, and we will continue to do so. Thanks to Town Manager Melissa Rodrigues and her team for their remarkable response efforts and partnership.
