House To Deliberate on State Budget
The Massachusetts House of Representatives will begin their deliberations on the Fiscal 2021 state budget today. The House Ways and Means plan does not rely on any new taxes or major cuts. It does utilize a draw on our 'rainy day fund' while seeking to attract an increase in federal funds. Due to the COVID-19 state of emergency conditions, the budget arrives five months into the fiscal year.
