Building the Massachusetts Seafood System
The Gloucester House was a very active place yesterday as it hosted the "Building the Massachusetts Seafood System" conference to help us support local maritime activities and expand seaport economic opportunities. The all-day conference featured leading experts from academia, government, non-profits, the private sector and other stakeholders.
Pictured with me are Angela Sanfillipo of the Gloucester Fishermen's Wives Association and Jack Wiggin. Jack and former City Counselor Valerie Nelson were instrumental in organizing the conference.
