The customers and crew at Aubuchon Hardware (114 County Road, Ipswich, MA) were treated to some comic relief when our North Shore 104.9 and Team Tarr Toy Drive folks helped guests find what they were looking for. The contributions that the customers and Aubochon staff made leading up to the day are substantial and they will make a real difference to kids and families in the area. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness #Ipswich.

Heav'nly Donuts-North Andover was a fantastic place to start the third day of the North Shore Toy Drive - caffeine, great food, and lots of friends. Not only did everyone have a good time we raised lots of money and collected lots of toys for kids. Our non-profit organization partner is the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. Day Two Of The North Shore Toy Drive

Today was remarkable for so many reasons - thousands in fact. Not only the thousands of dollars raised today for children in need, but also for the thousands of smiles I saw today from the many people who came to our three locations starting with Bob Fennel's Capitol Diner, where Governor Charlie Baker brought toys and a $1,000 donation, to the Recovery Centers of America at Danvers, and the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group where Warren Waugh presented the Toy Drive with a $5,000 donation. The children who sang, the dogs who bounded around us, the public safety officials who made the day move smoothly, and the great friends who came out to lend us a hand made a real difference - and that all makes me smile.

2021 North Shore Toy Drive

Wow! What an amazing first day of the 2021 North Shore Toy Drive. We got out to a fast start due to a very generous $3,000 donation from Institution for Savings in Salem presented to us by Mary Anne Clancy. Hank Morse of North Shore 104.9 kept our guests laughing and feeling great. Thanks to Senator Joan B. Lovely and Hannah Mori from her office, State Representative Paul Tucker, Salem State University President John Keenan, Salem State Police Chief Gene Labonte, for their support of the Toy Drive and in particular for Bates Elementary School, Salem.

Our second visit today was at the home of the fried clam – Woodman's of Essex. The Woodmans welcomed us, as they always do, with open arms and they were perfect hosts for our drive. Erika and I interviewed Congressman Seth Moulton. The Congressman brought a toy fish and Steve Woodman promised would not be battered and fried. Our sponsor North of Boston Tourist Information Center was represented by Ann Marie Casey and Staff.

Chief Francis of the Essex Police Department came with a stuffed police cruiser of gifts. Speaking of stuffed, Jan and Bob Tyler-Nelson came again with a rented truck full of toys, games, and winter jackets. The Northshoremen Barbershop Chorus sang beautifully. Judge Mori came to support us and Town of #Essex Selectbopard member Peter Phippen and Chairman Ruth Pereen. Our non-profit organization at Woodman's is Cape Ann Kids Holiday Fund
