United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps My State House Guests

I was delighted to have members of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Constitutional Division, join me as my guests in the Senate Chamber. These cadets hail from Merrimack Valley and North Shore communities. Led by Lieutenant Commander Alfred McMullen Jr. and accompanied by Tom and Danielle Martinuk, Dawn Blynn, Christine Sheedy, are Cadets Phillip Blynn, Chris Gingrass, Irene Emerson, Patrick Emerson, TJ Martinuk, Nathan Bui, Jordan Young, Kyle Sheedy, and Eric Borsa.

The USNSCC is a national youth leadership development organization that promotes interest in naval disciplines while instilling strong moral character and life skills. Through this organization, cadets are committed to developing abilities in seamanship and seagoing skills. The Cadet Corps instills virtues of good citizenship and strong moral principles, demonstrates the value of an alcohol, drug, and gang free lifestyle, and exposes cadets to public service and a variety of career paths.
