Celebrating with the Mother of Grace Club
On Sunday, September 7th, I had the honor to once again join with the members of Gloucester’s Mother of Grace Club for their annual fiesta. This year’s celebration marks 70 years since the club was first formed. In 1944, a group of mothers and other family members created the club to engage in group prayers for the safe return of their sons while serving overseas during World War II.
This wonderful tradition is just one of the many fascinating and time
honored traditions Gloucester has to offer.
