Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Benefits

During COVID, Massachusetts households receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits have been getting an extra allotment. Due to recent action by the federal government, the extra COVID SNAP benefits are ending today March 2, 2023. Since April 2020, these extra payments (at least $95) have been put on EBT cards at the beginning of each month. Starting in April, these households will get only one SNAP payment. That amount is the normal monthly benefit.

Unused SNAP benefits roll over month to month. Visit Mass.gov/ExtraCOVIDSNAP for information and to learn how you can get the most SNAP.
