Those Who Served Exhibition at Gloucester City Hall
I had the opportunity to attend the opening of Those Who Served, a moving and powerful photo exhibition now on display in the Kyrouz Auditorium at Gloucester City Hall through December 13, 2025.
Gloucester Photographer Jason Grow has created an extraordinary tribute to veterans of Korea, Vietnam, and the Cold War — capturing not only their faces, but their stories, their service, and their enduring spirit. The opening reception drew a standing-room-only crowd, a testament to the profound impact this exhibit has already had on our community.
Walking among these portraits — some marked with black ribbons to honor those we’ve lost — was a humbling experience. Each image reflects a life of duty and sacrifice, and together they form a living testament to the courage of the men and women who answered our nation’s call.
My sincere thanks to Jason Grow for his remarkable work and to all the veterans and families who shared their stories. This exhibit ensures that those who served are not only remembered, but truly seen.
I encourage everyone to visit Those Who Served before it closes on December 13. It is an experience that will stay with you long after you leave.
